On June 1, I served as the Commencement speaker at Delbarton's senior graduation. While addressing the 110 graduating seniors and their families, I tied my personal story to our school motto, Succisa Virescit, which is a Latin phrase that means “Once cut down, one will grow back stronger”. This was truly a once in a lifetime experience and I am so appreciative that Delbarton's Headmaster, Fr. Michael, gave me this opportunity. Ironically, this address coincided with the 15th anniversary of my own Delbarton graduation in 2004.
